The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is an exciting programme of religious education. It is based on Montessori methods. Children learn most things by doing... They have time to explore religious thought and experience by “playing” with religious “toys”. When you see the children at work you realise that play is children’s work. They learn to be still and to become aware of the presence of God. They learn the stories and traditions of the Christian faith. The session in the photos took place around Pentecost
